;D Greetings everyone, Just finished a web site refit so I hope to see more of you using it. Most of us old codgers have been pretty slack of late. So blow the soot out of your tubes and get on deck again. We would love to hear from you all. Ken

Ken, You have done a great job in refit. Does anyone think they will give us that served FESR 66-71 eligable service. I have been campagning since we received the ASM to no avail they keep telling me the same old story that tere was no conflict , what was Vietnam , We logistically supported the ships on the gunline by refuelling them . That they acknowledge but as far as the VLSM goes we were on the wrong side of the imaginary line. I really think we should keep up the gov for eligability, whats all cocerned reckon. Phil PJR465

Hi,sorry to be a bother but I need some help.In August 1968 4 crew members from Supply were killed in Newcastle while returning from a footy match with the army.I have tried everywhere to find any article concerning this incident, but it is like it never happened.Nothing in Navy news or Newcastle Herald,it is like it never happened.I was on Supply at the time.First sea draft after leaving Leeuwin. One of the lads killed was from my intake (18th). Thanks for your time. You all keep well. John. Tustin.(O'Brien) R95935.
